James Romig has been involved in instrument repair since 2014.  He began with string orchestra instruments, and added piano tuning, repair, and maintenance in 2019.  James has received his certification from the University of Houston in Piano Technology.  He also serves as a concert technician at the prestigious Interlochen Center for the Arts.  James is the instructor of piano technology at Marshall High School in Fort Bend Independent School District.  This program teaches high school students the art of piano tuning, repair, maintenance, entrepeneurship, and is the first of its kind in the world.  James maintains over 300 pianos in Fort Bend ISD,  the instruments for Garza Studios, his loyal customers, and his home piano of course.  Mr. Romig is a member in good standing with the local PTG (Piano Technicians Guild) chapter.
